Effective January 1, 2005, GED test fees will be as follows:
- First-time testing - $40
- Each Retest - $10
Fees must be paid by cash, money order or voucher (NO CHECKS).
POLICIES
- All tests must be scheduled at least two days prior to the exams and include prepayment of 50% of the test fee ($20 for a complete exam and $5 for each retest). This is a NON-REFUNDABLE FEE THAT WILL BE FORFEITED FOR AN UNDOCUMENTED ABSENCE/CANCELLATION OR FOR A SECOND ABSENCE/CANCELLATION. The remainder of the fee must be paid prior to taking the exam(s).
- In the event of a DOCUMENTED illness or emergency (hospital, doctor, or court documentation for self or immediate family or funeral for immediate family), you will be allowed to reschedule ONE-TIME ONLY without the forfeiture of your fee.
- If your test fees are being paid by an outside agency (such as KET), you must bring proper documentation with you on the day of the test. If you do not bring required documentation on test day, there is a $20 nonrefundable rescheduling fee.
