The Academic Testing Office is responsible for the coordination, administration, and planning of academic tests that are requested by the University and educational community. Eastern Kentucky University serves as a national test center site for the following exams:

  • American College Test (ACT)
  • Scholastic Achievement Test (SAT)
  • Miller Analogies Test
  • Law School Admission Test (LSAT)
  • Certified Health Education Specialist Exam (CHES)
  • Subject tests for the Graduate Record Examination (GRE)

Other tests administered by the Office of Academic Testing include:

  • University Writing Requirement Exam (UWR)
  • Residual ACT
  • College-Level Examination Program (CLEP)®
  • Departmental Credit-by-Examination tests
  • University Placement Tests
